Ah yes, the Empire’s best troops are defeated by a bunch of teady bears armed with sticks and rocks…
I guess technology isn’t everything.

The name ‘ewok’ is based on the word ‘wookiee’ — they are half the size, and use half the letters.

Storm trooper armor sucks. It doesn’t stop blaster shots and primitive ewoks can kill them with rocks and arrows.

@ObscuraX3 That was just a joke from the red letter media review. You took that seriously?

I like how they reason behind them going back to “Return” was saying that Jedi’s don’t have revenge. In reality, they saved a LOT on costs across the movie and all of their merchandise by cutting out an extra letter from “Revenge” and make it “Return”.

From EP6 and on, I feel like the magic wasn’t quite there anymore. The story and even the action sequences had little meaning, in that movie. EP1-2-3 need no explanation.
January 27th, 2012 at 8:37 pm
Holy Shit! The narrator actually said Revenge of the Jedi at 5:56 WTF? thats one big massive FAIL.

@ramonesaudibert
Well the wikipedia article lists it as 「ジェダイの帰還」 (jedai no kikan) which means ”jedi’s return/return of the jedi”. It also does say that the title upon release was ジェダイの復讐 (jedai no fukushuu) which does indeed mean ‘jedi’s ‘revenge/revenge of the jedi”. It says the name was changed to ”jedai no kikan” in 2004 when it was released as a trilogy box-set. Hope that helps.

@xibok nonono, they ARE elite troops, its just they, like all villinous bad guys, were given weapons with accuracy inhibitors and a tendency to run out of ammo at the wrong times
